Helping gifted people become more fully themselves.

You’re intense, complex, and searching. Multitalented, creative, highly sensitive. Asynchronous, twice exceptional, overexciteable. Neurodivergent. You’re an outlier, and I am someone who understands that conventional norms were normed by the normal.

I’m a counselor, coach, & improv instructor who works exclusively with gifted adolescents and adults. Your neurodivergences are welcome and celebrated.

North Carolina and South Carolina residents can access licensed counseling services. Coaching and Improv are available worldwide. Beginning at some later point in 2024, I will be able to provide counseling services to clients in up to twenty-eight states. Read whether your state is included here.

You’re a differently wired gifted person, and you need a counselor who understands that your intensities and complexities are features, not bugs. You may possess multiple neurodivergences and struggle to understand them outside of the neuromajority’s viewpoint. Gifted adolescents and adults can emerge from loneliness, anxiety, depression, discontent, trauma, and feeling stuck.

Improv

Gifted people, many with multiple neurodivergences, coming together to practice spontaneity and trust in yourselves and each other? Yes. And relaxing and laughing alongside peers? Yes. Improv opens people up through play. It offers a new avenue to feeling safe and open. It is a different avenue to arrive at many of the same outcomes that therapy offers: self-trust, social safety

And it’s just plain fun. I offer Improv for Teens, Adults, Families, and Therapists.
